Restored Desha County Museum beneath a blue Arkansas sky

Old buildings remember.

I help historic homes, storefronts, and gathering places hold on to what makes them matter.

A word from Matt

Save what matters. Mend what’s tired.

An old house already has good bones and a long memory. My job is to listen to it and get it ready for another hundred years.

I’ve been at this since I was fifteen, and I still grin every time we uncover some small detail a previous owner left behind. If you’ve got a place worth saving, I’d be glad to help.— Matt Foster

Historic tax credits

A bigger future for historic places.

A historic property may qualify for rehabilitation tax credits that cover a real share of the work. I’ve walked that road more than a few times and can give you a straight answer on whether your place qualifies.

About Matt

Old buildings got in my blood early.

I started at fifteen, working on historic homes my uncle was restoring and learning the trade from him and from my daddy, an artist here in the community. Somewhere in all that sawdust, this became the thing I was meant to do.

Today I work with what a building gives me instead of fighting it—and care as much about the neighbors down the street as the job itself.
